The Oaks Apartments located at 2995 and 2975 Albion Rd. N. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, are managed by Osgoode Properties ltd.
Jim and Bonnie Keefe are saddened to close The Oaks Tenants Association, We thank all those who shared in the functions of the association, unfortunately we could not find anyone to replace us and take over the association! but that does not mean we are going to give up our fight! We will be forming a new association to represent all tenants in the Ottawa Area, and trying to have other Cities and Towns do the same! We will continue to fight! We will take our concerns to Queens Park in Toronto! The Tenant Protection Act needs to be changed! and we will continue to organize protest and lobby the Provincial Government to make the changes! If you belong to an action group or social organization and wish to take part in our fight for affordable housing email us!
We are against High and Increasing Rent!
Please organize a March in your City or Town! Keep those letters going to your Members of Provincial Parliament about the need for affordable Housing! People on fixed income pensioners and those with low to mid income need housing they can afford! the Streets are where These people will eventually end, as more are unable to pay Rent!
Urbandale Managed the Oaks Apartments till March of 2000. Since the sale of the buildings to Osgoode Properties Ltd. we have seen many changes in our buildings, our buildings show the deterioration from lack of maintenance, the appearance of the buildings inside and out has declined due to the lack of adequate cleaning. Our Rent goes up and our services decline.
We have not heard many good comments about Osgoode, We have received numerous complaints from tenants in our buildings and other buildings owned by Osgoode.
If you have any complaints or comments regarding any of Osgoodes Properties please email them to us at tenants association
If you have any suggestions or comments regarding this page email Jake
I'm planning on adding more features and functions to this page including our News Letter and more information on events and meetings.
